There was a Chinese fighter in UFC before. He was badly beaten and I never see him again. In the earlier UFC match, there were some american using Chinese kungfu, but they got KO within 1st round with bloods all over their faces.

Real fighting skills have to be tested - the more mundane stuff like Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai kickboxing do very well in real fighting. The Muay Thai figher trains on sparing 1 on 1 every single day. The Chinese kungfu trains by fighting his own shadow. The wayang kungfu from China is useless against the real fighting skills of Muay Thai. The Chinese stuff is only good for movies - Crane style, Dragon Style, Drunken Master style. One direct strike from Muay Thai, they will be swimming in blood on the ground.
