To the thai experts. If this split happens. How can the south survive? I mean the reason y the revolt is happening is the rich n middle class do not like the vote buying by taksin n gang. If the North becomes independent. The money wont go to them to them from bangkok etc.right? Since north is poorer where the money going to come from?

They get to keep and do whatever deem most beneficial to them and their economy. In other words, they get to control their own fate. They can co-operate with who ever gives them the most attractive offers for their plantation and use part of their money to invest and improve their agriculture know-how and technology. Easier said than done, but bottom line, they get to control their own fate, rich or poor and not be slaves to corrupted royalist.

If thailand is split between the far north with the middle portion then more states may decide to split like the far south. Thailand is mostly divided up into 5 different regions i believe.
