Despite all the loud noises from the pap about demanding for the return of the terrexs EXPEDITIOUSLY, they were ignored.

In my opinion, I think she sincerely, but delusionally, wants a certain opposition party she supports (but I honestly don't know which one, or there could even be more than one that she supports) to become the new government of Singapore; but as I've said/implied several times before, she would have to convert a significant percentage of all Sinkie women and old Sinkie men in their 60s and 70s:

I dare say that at both GE2011 and GE2015, at least roughly 45% of the valid votes were from women, and at least another roughly 15% from male civil/public servants (including regulars in the SAF and Police), male employees of GLCs, and old men in their 60s and 70s.

Somehow, I doubt this. If the vehicles were release, the PAP will try to put it into a positive spin. Something along the lines of "See, we have influence in Beijing, we tell them to let out vehicles go, and they obey us.". The return of the Terrex would be greeted with a lot of fanfare and shit times will trumpet that as a triumph of diplomacy and great relations with China.

China can also spin it in their way too, saying something like they got concessions from the SAF to reduce and eliminate their training in Taiwan down the road for the return of the Terrex. Many sides can benefit from the publicized release of the AFVs. The fact that it is not publicized, indicates to me that they are still in HKG.

I was about to start a thread on this topic, but you beat me to it.

The shocking silence and lack of updates on the progress of the Terrex return is bordering on the absurd and hardly the norm of any world democratic govt. It seems now that the PAP and Gay Loong know no fear at all and the lack of pressure by oppo parties is also shocking to me. WP should be having a field day on this. This is the biggest own goal that the PAP has scored in years.

1) What is the status of the SAF team send to secure the Terrex in the first days of the incident. Did they even smell the vehicles? were they allowed near the vehicles? Are they still there or have they returned home after accomplishing their mission?
2) Were all the small arms mentioned by MG Melvyn secured or confiscated?
3) How much in hardware and software in dollar value was tied up in this shipment. Should be over $30 million by my estimation
4) What is the status of diplomatic talks with HKG and Beijing?
5) What is the status of the APL meetings with HKG customs. Have the meetings ended? What was decided at the meetings? Was all the paperwork complete and if not were additional documentation provided?
6) What is any comments or feedbacks was received by the USMC on the confiscation of a vehicle which they were considering for their next gen amphibious assault vehicle.
7) What kind of timeline can we expect to see the Terrex back in Singapore
8) What are the odds that the Terrex will ever be returned to singapore?
9) Who has been disciplined, demoted, and punished for this incident?
10) Why are there no updates at all?
