LionsXII players and their fans from Singapore were stranded at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin stadium in Malaysia for about five hours, after Terengganu fans turned violent over their team's failure to qualify on Saturday for the Malaysian FA Cup final.

The Singapore team narrowly defeated their competition. They won on an away-goals advantage after both teams were tied 4-4 on aggregate to advance to the final.

According to Facebook page Exclusive Singapore Lions XII, which was providing live updates on the situation, two buses transporting Lions XII supporters were damaged after fans threw stones at them.

Welcome to Mudland football.
Not very different from those 1970s days when all SG registered cars were punctured outside the Darul Aman (not sure of the name now) Stadium in JB.
All FOUR tyres. We then had to organise owners of identical cars to contribute one spare tyre each and started ferrying tyres to tyre shop to pump our
tyres.
The East Coast states were the worst.

So, things have not changed, huh?

For actually supporting the PussiesXII and following a shitty league, those fans deserved every ounce of violence dished out on them.

Singapore football died in 1994. Has stayed dead ever since. Let it remain dead.

Football hooliganism is a worldwide phenomenon, but of course it's more emotionally satisfying for Sinkies to blame it on the Mudland giao tors, probably so jealous of our economic success (LKY was right, LKY is always right!) and thus wanted to stir shit.

Being stranded for 5 hours at a stadium is quite mild. In some European countries, you would be stabbed or stoned. If you have a death wish, wear the jersey of a football team and walk on the streets of a rival team's territory. ;)

Luckily the local mudland police restored order. If not, I would have to write to our PM Lee to dispatch a battalion of riflemen and a Resident to restore order and govern that barbaric province. The local mudland leaders would have to consult with the Singapore Resident on all matters pertaining to the local administration, while retaining full control over local customs and ceremonies.

At times, I wonder if you are really a PAP IB or an SDPPY!
