【明報專訊】廣東農民抗爭一波未平一波又起。汕頭潮陽區海門鎮農民不滿華能集團興建電廠污染環境，昨日有5萬人上街抗議。民眾佔領海門鎮政府，堵塞 深汕公路，警方要施放催淚彈驅散。有目擊者對本報稱有一名青年被警察用警棍猛擊，送院後不治。有傳2人被打死，激起村民憤反擊，有警察亦受傷。汕頭市長鄭 人豪用「大聲公」勸民眾離去。到昨晚，汕頭市政府已決定取消興建電廠項目。
昨晨10時左右，海門鎮政府門前開始有民眾聚集，要求華能新建的 電廠停工。鎮政府大門一度關閉，但被砸開，原本在政府大院內守衛的警察束手無策，示威民眾湧入大院，並爬上二樓露台。至中午，人群愈聚愈多，湧上深汕公路 靜坐堵路，區內一段約30公里的高速公路需要封閉，大批手持盾牌的特警和防暴警察到場增援。
市長被扔膠樽 傳有人被打死
在海門中學，學校擔心學生會參與示威，中午不准放學，給學生買來每人一個杯麵。但已從手機上得悉事件的學生拒絕進食，學校延至下午5時才放學。汕頭市長鄭人豪用「大聲公」勸民眾離去，但被扔膠樽，現場地上遺下大量空樽。
本 報記者昨日傍晚6時許沿深汕公路行至海門鎮時，有過百名武警封路，但其餘道路仍可進入，民眾已散去，有數百人在政府大樓附近議論紛紛。一名林姓目擊者對本 報說，有一名年約24歲的男青年在公路上遭警察用警棍猛毆至重傷，他和多名市民協助一起把他送去醫院救治，但後來宣告不治。另有一名市民表示，看見一名青 年於公路被一枚催淚彈射中眼部，之後冒出濃煙，同時一名老人家被警察用警棍追打，頭破血流，但不知2人其後下落。
環保局叫停 電廠仍施工
事 件緣於華能集團在海門的電廠擴建工程，據財新網報道，華能海門電廠一期工程3號、4號機組位於潮陽區東南8公里，離汕頭市中心區23公里，工程總投資74 億元人民幣，上月被國家環保局叫停，但現場仍在施工。據環評報告稱，受其影響的海域內有多個養殖區、漁業養護區及自然保護區，電廠將導致無機氮、活性磷酸 鹽、石油類物質超標。
新華社引述一名從事海產品生意的海門居民王先生說，當地民眾認為電廠排出的污水對附近養殖場造成污染，民眾對此十分不滿。
新華社昨晚發出新聞稿稱，汕頭市委、市政府重視海門鎮民眾的訴求，已決定華電發電項目暫停上馬。

【明報專訊】汕尾烏坎村村民抗爭事件暫告平息，汕頭潮陽區海門鎮昨日卻連續第二日爆發示威衝突。約千名群眾昨午在深汕高速公路海門收費廣場抗議，反 對興建新發電廠，擔心造成污染。防暴警察繼前日武力鎮壓後，昨日再度施放催淚彈，據悉有多名示威者被打傷。有示威者聲言會抗爭到底，直至新發電廠「真正」 被叫停為止。
海門鎮是位於汕頭潮陽區的沿海小鎮，中國華能集團近年在海門鎮建設發電廠，有居民認為，電廠排出廢水和廢氣，嚴重污染海水和空 氣，導致居民魚獲大減（見另稿）。最近，華能計劃再興建新的發電廠，惹來居民強烈反彈，觸發連串示威。本報記者昨日到衝突導火線、位於海門鎮內的中國華能 發電廠，現場所見，電廠內有尚未建成的建築物以及大型吊臂，但吊臂沒有運作。
記者昨見發電廠吊臂停工
據新華社報道，前晚爆發數萬人示威後，相關部門已宣布暫停華能的新發電廠項目，汕頭市政府已責成環保局做好監測。報道又稱，汕頭市政法委書記謝澤生否認前晚警方驅散群眾時造成多人受傷，他表示當天只有一人在聚集時輕傷，並無其他傷亡。
傳有人死 市政府﹕一人輕傷
然而前日的衝突事件後，有目擊者曾對本報稱有一名青年被警察用警棍猛擊，送院後不治。
海門鎮昨早市面平靜，但前日發生嚴重警民衝突的深汕高速公路海門鎮入口，昨早仍被封鎖，有數十名警察坐在收費站外的馬路上把守，嚴禁車輛通過，但氣氛不算緊張，昨早亦只有數十名年輕人逃學到收費廣場附近聚集。
中午過後，在收費廣場聚集的群眾愈來愈多，防暴警察亦到場戒備，情勢急轉直下。約千名群眾與收費站外的數百名防暴警察，相距約300米對峙。現場消息稱，防暴警察至少發射了4次催淚彈驅散人群，之後便由收費站外衝入收費廣場追打示威者，據悉有多名示威者被打傷。
有目擊者稱，施放催淚彈後，很多示威者向後逃跑，「有些摔倒了，來不及逃，就被防暴警察用警棍不停打」。現場消息稱，有3名示威者遭打傷後，被防暴警察抓到收費站外的防暴警察大本營，直至昨午5時許，仍未放人。
怨「施暴隊」 推翻警車泄憤
示威者批評防暴警察不合理使用暴力，「我們只是叫口號抗議，為何要打我們？『防暴隊』已經不是『防暴隊』，是『施暴隊』！」有示威者不滿警方武力驅散群眾，拋擲磚頭擊毁現場一輛警車，更將警車推翻。
當地傳媒零報道 居民不滿
另外，有居民不滿當地傳媒連日來都沒有採訪海門鎮的示威活動，「它們不能報道，亦不會報道」。不過，記者在現場採訪時，居民亦有點戒心，多次要求記者出示記者證，怕記者是政府派來打探消息的哨子。有居民對記者說﹕「一定要把事件報道出去，讓政府以及更多人關心事件。」
