Do you know that Temasek Holdings, run by the "esteemed" wife of Lee Hsien Loong, has been writing off $8 billion under "Administrative Expenses" every year since 2006?

This is on top of "Other Operating Expenses" which cost another $8 billion.

What justify such an eye-popping figure just for admin and operating expenses?

Do Temasek Holdings executives travel First Class on overseas trips? Or do they use Mont Blanc stationery in the office?

Why didn't the MSM pursue this?

Guys, did you know these admin, financial and "other" expenses are spent via companies set up by Ho Jinx's relatives and her cronies? Moreover these crony-related companies grossly inflate the sums of expenses? (Remember how Susan Lim who grossly inflated her medical bills for treating a royal related to the Sultan of Brunei? The same principle applies to Temasick.)

For example, travel expenses are spent via travel agencies set up by their relatives and cronies?

Another example, fees for engaging external financial advisors are grossly inflated. Additionally these external financial advisors work for companies run by Ho Jinx's cronies?

The above practices are nothing new. They are practised in countries where authoritarian regimes exist, especially in China. That's why a little bird from the West told me many moons ago.

Toh Chin Chye and Goh Keng Swee would have been proud of our SPH. Our PAP's style of governance is that the media should be pro-government and provide constructive articles. It's not just LKY's idea. It's the idea of several generations of PAP's CEC. Sinkies voted in full support of such partnership between PAP and SPH. So, why complain?

I am sure the Norwegian Sovereign fund doesn't spent as much on administration as Temasek and the Norwegian Sovereign Fund manages at least 5X more assets than Temasek.

Why is the AG auditing Temasek? Instead it focuses resources on auditing the WP TC. This is one line the Opposition can use for GE2015.

obviously temasick is a badly managed SWF to say the least. expenses of 20b with only a measly profit of 9b.
berkshire hadthaway's last annual report had admin n general expenses of only 12b but earnings of 19b. It is obvious that someone doesnt take $100k annual salary like warren buffett.

More than 10% of revenue spent on administrative expenditure, no explanation?

Put into context, with that 8 billion, they can hire 275,000 admin asst at $25,000 per annum(market rate), incl. of CPF. That's the equivalent of 9.1% of Singapore's entire workforce, just to do administrative matters.
