SINGAPORE : Singapore investment company Temasek Holdings on Thursday announced changes to its leadership team.
It has appointed Simon Israel, 57, and Gregory Curl, 62, as presidents, and Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara, 47, as head of portfolio management, Temasek said in a statement.
Mr Israel is currently an executive director, heading Temasek's Singapore operations, while Mr Curl - who retired from Bank of America in March - will oversee Temasek's financial services and strategic engagements in the Americas.
The latest appointments came after Temasek appointed former Singapore Exchange chief executive Hsieh Fu Hua, 60, as president and executive director, with effect from August 1.
Temasek said Mr Hsieh, together with Mr Israel and Mr Curl will work in close partnership with Temasek CEO Ho Ching to support the senior leadership team to build a sustainable institution that creates and delivers long-term shareholder value.
Mr Hsieh oversees Temasek's institutional and capacity building initiatives, as well as risk management.
Mr Israel will provide leadership in building and enhancing value creation in Temasek's Singapore investments, as well as oversee its engagement with Australia and New Zealand markets.
Mr Curl, who brings with him 34 years of banking and international M&A experience, will oversee Temasek's interests in financial services and support its strategic engagement in the Americas.
Temasek added that Mr Pillay will also take on the role of co-head of Singapore operations to support Mr Israel.
Ms Ho Ching said: "Along with Simon and other members of our senior team, Fu Hua, Greg and Dilhan will add tremendous depth to our bench strength, as we continue to forge a partnership culture with an ownership mindset, and further hone our capabilities as an investment house."
The latest appointments will take effect from September 1.
Temasek's portfolio stood at a record high of S$186 billion as of March 31.
