this is what i have to say of this local chink medicine shop. they will never be able to vie with those old school reliable brand from Hong Kong and China. i know that cos' of proximity, hk and GuangZhou relation, they have been trading with one another that benefit both sides. how can Eu Yan Seng compete with them internationally? yes, they did go thru a makeover which appeal to the younger gen. but it is not good enough.

the above,tong ren tang is the most famous chinese med. shop in china, originate from Beijing and now a pharmaceutical company. Li ka Shing is major shareholder. can they beat them to it, just think of population size between china and sinkieland? i think once again, temasek will lose money.
this is my initial ground work that i know of, there may be other patriotic reasons that i may not know of. but in business, this is a bad deal.
