SINGAPORE: A teenager took turns with a 40-year-old neighbour to have sex with an underage girl in a lorry.

His case came up in court on Friday and he is expected to be sentenced on 12 December, pending a probation report.

If convicted he could be jailed 10 years, fined or given both.

The case against the 40-year-old neighbour, Hang Tuah Jumaat, will come up for mention in January next year.

The 17-year-old youth is also the ex-boyfriend of the 13-year-old girl.

The teenager and Hang Tuah Jumaat invited the girl for drinks and they were all driven to Kranji Camp between 21 and 22 April 2010 by Hang Tuah Jumaat.

They had drinks together and the girl became intoxicated and drowsy.

Hang Tuah Jumaat then asked the teen to have sex with the girl, but he declined and went to sleep.

When he woke up, he saw Hang Tuah Jumaat having sex with the girl.

The teen was again told by Hang Tuah Jumaat to have sex with the girl and this time he did.

The court heard that the girl's eyes were closed and she appeared intoxicated throughout.

Hang Tuah Jumaat drove the teen and the girl back, but left the girl sleeping in the lorry when she complained that she could not get up.

The girl later went to school where she was referred to a counsellor, and a police report was made.

On the same day, the teenager was detained in school where he admitted to the offence.

He claimed he was high on heroin at the time of the incident and had acted out of fear towards Hang Tuah Jumaat, court documents revealed.

Mr Ali (not his real name) is the father of the teen who had raped an intoxicated 13-year-old girl on a lorry in April 2010.

</cite>Mr Ali (age 58) told reporters about his disbelief when he found out his son had pleaded guilty.

He told The New Paper, "I have absolutely no idea he had pleaded guilty in court.

That was not what my ex-wife had told me. She said he was just a witness."

He also seem disappointed and bewildered to hear that his son had been abusing drugs.

The teen had admitted to taking heroin three times a week in the past year, claiming that he had used it to escape from his problems.

Mr Ali divorced his ex-wife more than ten years ago and is homeless and unemployed.

The four sons that Mr Ali has with his ex-wife are raised by her as he does not have his own home.

All four sons, between 16 and 22 years old have stopped schooling. On this, Mr Ali only said, "They just refuse to go (to school)."

Mr Ali added that he is aware that his eldest son is a photographer, but he does not know what the others are doing.

Teen gets reformative training for sex with girl, 13

A teen and a 40-year-old man had sex with a 13-year-old girl after she became drunk after a couple of alcoholic drinks.

On Monday, the 17-year-old was sentenced to reformative training for sexual penetration of a minor between April 21 and 22 last year. The incident happened in a lorry in a road near Kranji Camp.

He cannot be named as there is a gag order.

Inmates aged 21 and below undergo reformative training of at least 18 months and a maximum of three years. They are subjected to a regimen of foot drills as well as counselling.
