Teban Gardens carpark floods whenever rain comes along, even if it's for short while

STOMPer Jenglot hopes that the relevant authorities will work on the drainage system in Teban Gardens after coming across a flood that was caused by only a short but heavy downpour. The STOMPer noted that this wasn't the first time flooding has occurred in this area.

The STOMPer wrote:

"I came across this sight in Teban Gardens as I was looking outside my window to see the heavy rain yesterday (Apr 14).

"I was shocked to see the carpark flooded to this extent where the road kerb has been covered by water, let alone half the tyre of a car.

"This is not the first time it has happened though -- the same situation occurred in the past two days when it was raining.

"I really hope they improve the drainage system to stop this problem. It was only raining for about two hours here and look at how bad the flooding is.

"If the problem isn't fixed, I have a feeling more motorists will have to visit their workshop regularly.

Live reporting from Dunearn Road.

Super heavy rain now. Expect ponding again. It's normal lah. I would be worried if it does not pond. :D
