Singaporean actress Rebecca Lim has welcomed her second child, a baby girl she wants to be known publicly as “Baby M”. The 39-year-old told CNA Lifestyle that her daughter was born via natural birth last week at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, weighing 3.6kg. Lim described the first week after the birth as “a lot to take in”, sharing that her newborn had to remain in hospital for several days for medical checks before returning home on 13 May.

“A lot of things have been going on,” she said to CNA Lifestyle. “The transition from one kid to two has been quite challenging.”

While she declined to disclose details about her daughter’s condition, Lim admitted the repeated trips to the hospital left her feeling “very helpless” at times.

Still, she said she tried to stay positive and focused on spending more time with her two-year-old son while trusting doctors and nurses to care for the baby.

“I trusted them to take care of my daughter, and now she's home,” she said.
