TCM licence revoked
<!-- by line --> <!-- end by line --> TRADITIONAL Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner Huang Danmin lost his licence after being found guilty of professional misconduct for rendering questionable treatments on a patient. Mr Huang, who practises at a Rochor clinic, was also convicted of possessing and selling various poisons, in breach of the Poisons Act. According to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board, Mr Huang had also failed to keep proper records of patient treatments, leading to the cancellation of his acupuncturist and TCM physician licence. Mr Huang appealed to the High Court. Justice Tay Yong Kwang upheld the Board's decision on Thursday and ordered Mr Huang to pay legal cost to the Board.
