Taxi rips through taxi stand, lands on pedestrian mall

A TAXI ripped through the taxi stand in front of Parklane Mall, Selegie Road late before noon on Friday, crashed through the shrubs and ended up on the pedestrian walkway.

It is not known yet if anyone was hurt or killed as police are on the scene now.

But eyewitnesses who sent pictures of the accident scene said a road sweeper nearby was in a daze, while the taxi driver was taken away in an ambulance.
