Ms Sylvia Lim was invited as a special guest to witness the induction of new members and installation of the new board of directors of Lions Club Khatib Mandarin for FY 2011/2012, on Sat 29 July at a restaurant at Tanjong Katong Complex. In her speech in Mandarin to members and guests, she acknowledged the benevolent work of Lions Clubs in Singapore and the generosity of Lions Club Khatib Mandarin in contributing food rations and other interim support for needy residents in Serangoon Division of Aljunied GRC.
