What taxi driver tells Tan Kin Lian about presidential hopefuls

Presidential hopeful Tan Kin Lian got the chance to sample opinion from the ground when he took a taxi - and found out that he might not be the most popular candidate among taxi drivers.
Many taxi drivers are supporting Dr Tony Tan, his taxi driver told the former CEO of NTUC Income, who posted details of his encounter on his Facebook.
Mr Tan announced his intention to contest the coming Presidential Election earlier this month.

Besides Mr Tan, Dr Tony Tan and Dr Tan Cheng Bock have also announced their candidacy.
In Mr Tan's Facebook message, he wrote that the driver told him many taxi drivers backed Dr Tan because they knew who he was.
Mr Tan also pointed out that the driver did not seem to know much about Dr Tan Cheng Bock.
At the end of the journey, Mr Tan discovered the taxi driver had recognised him all along, because the driver said to him: "Don't worry, Mr. Tan. I will support you."
taxi uncles if they happen to pick up tony tan or tan cheng bock would definitely say the same thing to them. now what's tan kin lian trying to imply? he's more popular and he's hotter media whore??
