Mr Tan Jee Say’s master stroke is that while under normal circumstances the PEC is unlikely to entertain his application, he joins at a time when there is already a 3 corner fight. If he is allowed to run, it will become a 4 corner fight. As a former member of SDP, Mr Tan Jee Say will dilute the pro Opposition vote currently being shared by Dr Tan Cheng Bock and Mr Tan Kin Lian. His entry to the race therefore significantly enhances Dr Tony Tan’s chances of victory. Mr Tan Jee Say is therefore banking on the PEC’s possible secret leanings to get the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) which he probably would not be able to get under normal circumstances.

Since there are 4 Tans in it and for the seniors Ah Beng Ah Peks they might be confused and they just cross any one Tan will do. And TT might not get the major votes in this case.

It is only the educated that will know which Tans to choose.

vote for Tan Jee Say, and see what he can do with Singapore's Ceremonials Presidency... I really hope he get in, and give Pinky a good time!

My first choice goes to Tan Jee Say, followed by Tan Kin Lian and lastly Tan Cheng Bock.

Same here! For TKL, i remember he did a good job as a CEO from the point of view of a policyholder. My Income policy did much better than Prudential in terms of return and both were bought in the same year.
