In the case of RP, unlikely. KJ likely to persevere. Face matters. In the case of SDA, will only close when directed to. But why close? Having another opposition party serves useful purposes.

KJ was the first to say that the oppo can form govt. The voters response in PEBE was to give him 1.2% (353 votes). A few SBF forummers have stopped posting here after that, although they still lurk. Being made to look silly is not restricted to the offline world. It exists in the virtual world too, so it would appear. TJS should either return to the SDP or join KJ. He would find his level in either of these options. The common denominator in all 3 is their tendency to make many public statements but achieve little politically.

On the contrary, I think it's CSJ and TJS type that will make pap kick back and relax because they know most voters will not go for CSJ and TJS.

Voters on a whole are smart, and they can tell the difference between obstinacy and steadfastness.

He sounds slightly lost. I think he is trying to rope in people from everywhere but with not much to show for it. Or perhaps cannot find a suitable vehicle as he wants things his way.

This is exactly the kind of statements by which I mean he let his his ego and boast outrun his actions and results.

To be able to make this kind of statements, you must be helming a party. And he is still looking for one, let alone finding one that will allow him to broadcast manifestos like this.

Otherwise, all he says is just braggadocio and bravado, a lot of chest thumping.

I recall that he setup some kind of mini think-tank cum political forum to develop local politics and he acquired premises near Cathay but nothing took off. The speculation was that he would set-up a political party from the RP fall-out candidates plus some from SDP. I do acknowledge that he is shrewd and has not burnt his bridges with SDP. He went into PE with SDP blessings and support.
