THIS year's Budget is widely expected to bring 'good news', as hinted by various Ministers recently.

Given that housing issues have been in the spotlight lately, analysts say there could be housing-related 'goodies' in the upcoming Budget on Feb 18.

My wish is for them to reduce their pay by half and use the savings for more "worthy purposes".
No need to give me anything.
But I guess it will be "tankuku" or "fat hope". :D

bro,

gong hey fatt choy! i second your ideas, cut their pay by half for worthy causes rather handing any rebates back to us.

the last PM Lee wanted to help the poor, the GST was raised from 5% to 7%:eek::eek:

Happy new year Zhihau. :)

Don't talk bad about him today lah, today his birthday. :o :D

My budget wish is also to make all the MPs cut their pay by half, dislcosed their assets (local and overseas) and get rid of unnecessary title like MM and SM and ministers without porfolio. We want the ministers to account for how much tax they paid as compared to the people.

We don't want an invisible PM who overpaid himself and still rely heavily on his father for support on almost all issues governing this country.

Last but not least, we want full transparency and accountability on all usage of people's many across the board including how much the judge are getting and their exchanges with the existing ruling party.

All the above involved and helped the savings of budget in one way or another which can be used more appropriately to help the needy than to enrich the corrupted high office holders.
