The early poll is usually for those who would be arranged to be on election duties on the actual polling day - e.g. matas; election officers; polling agents etc. They won't have time on that actual day to cast vote for themselves so they vote now.

（中央社記者謝佳珍台北10日電）中央選舉委員會今天公布，第13任總統副總統選舉的選舉人人數為1808萬6455人；相較第12任總統副總統選舉人數1732萬1622人，增加76萬4833人。
中選會同時公布第8屆立法委員選舉的選舉人人數，分別為不分區立委選舉1809萬295人、區域立委選舉1762萬5632人、平地原住民立委選舉17萬1548人、山地原住民立委選舉18萬3398人。1010110
