The Taiwanese local elections gave the indication that Taiwanese (Pro-KMT) would be willing to be ruled by the CCP.They have forgotten about HK. By the time they realise it,it will be too late.

Many of these local governors have links to triads and these triads are closely tied to CCPee. The future of Taiwan is truly questionable now.

There are too many fifth columnists (eg pro-CCP KMT members) in Taiwan who are very good in
United Front Activities in defaming n tainting the
performance n good names of DPP candidates and inciting hatred against the DPP candidates.

The F4 pop group started the rot. And then the idol dramas that teach the men to be subservient to women. Do you want to count on people like Vic Chou and Vanness Wu to fight People's Liberation Army ?

Congratulations to the Taiwanese for their support of democracy. Whomever rules now have bigger responsibilities to lead & guide the nation.

It is sad that only 59% of the population took part in the elections. It seems the other 41% are not interested on who rules over them. As Free Will is a gift to Humanity, they will have to bear the consequences for the direction that the nation takes under new leadership, & cannot complain or seek further help from the international community should the nation takes a turn to the worst. Thanks to the 41%.

While there is much fear over the rhetoric over the fears of China's claim over the island, & used as a campaign strategy by the ruling party, it had evidently failed as A) events in China - zero Covid policies- had watered down such threats, B) Taiwanese concerns are more about bread & butter issues now, after post Covid era. The KMT had done well, more so when 41% are not interested on whom governs, & left the votes to those whom are more politically motivated to choose.

The KMT party claims it does not represent China, a claim that it will have to substantiate by actions & not by words alone. Dialogues are often better than rhetoric of war, & China, despite its threats of military battles, has NO desire to destroy the island, but rather to take it whole as it did in Xinjiang & Hong Kong, as it knows the high cost of wars, that sadly, its ally - PrezPutin of RUS - did not.

Taiwan is not the 51st State of USA. Its interest is only on trade. Whomever rules Taiwan, he/she should not hinder trade & the free movement & exchange of trade, ideas, innovations & Humans on the island & more critically, the seas around it. Thus, to avoid any conflict & trade to progress & prosper all, it would be best that such policy remains no matter whom rules Taiwan.

With pro-CCPee camps winning the mid-term erection, US will now have 2nd thoughts selling advanced weaponry to Taiwan.

The dpp got analled badly this time because Tsai ingwen and her gang of merry men have been proven ineffective and corrupt at governing Taiwan. They fucked up the economy, local crime, pandemic management, defense policy and diplomacy.. So due to all these domestic issues even the hard-line dpp supporters refused to vote for them this time. The kmt did not win. Rather, the dpp lost.

the pattern follows US style...Democrat wins president, Republican wins congress. KMT wins provincal erections, DDP wins president come 2024.

ns reduced to 4 months by dpp, thus young men and their mothers voted dpp. now lesbo tsai proposes it should increase to 1 year due to prc threats, thus young men and their mothers voted against dpp. it’s not that they like kmt. the taipei seat was won by kmt against incumbent tpp where ko of tpp was ruled ineligible. thus he contested in hsinchu which he won. majority of young women in tw still vote for dpp. they want to have their pussies and eat them too.

Ko did not contest in Hsinchu. His party candidate Ann Kao did. Get your facts right.

2022 ELECTIONS: Ann Kao wins Hsinchu mayor’s seat for TPP

GAINING GROUND: Kao’s victory gives the three-year-old party a major win in its first year of local campaigning, in a city the DPP held for two terms

Ann Kao (高虹安) of the Taiwan People’s Party (TPP) was yesterday elected mayor of Hsinchu, defeating the Democratic Progressive Party’s (DPP) Shen Hui-hung (沈慧虹) and the Chinese Nationalist Party’s (KMT) Lin Ken-jeng (林耕仁).

Kao, 38, declared victory at about 7:30pm. She is to become the first female mayor of Hsinchu and the youngest mayor or county commissioner ever elected in Taiwan.

Shen, who trailed Kao by 10,000 votes, conceded defeat before the final results were confirmed and congratulated Kao on her win.
