一名王姓男子日前爆料，他身為華航的前任機長，卻在未經告知的情況下，遭華航列「禁運黑名單」拒載，禁運時間甚至長達82年，等於他要到135歲才能夠搭乘華航的飛機，對此華航解釋，是由於王男的網路言論影響到飛安，致商譽受損，才會做出這樣的懲處。

王男委屈地透露：「只是在網路貼文透露疲勞駕駛的痛苦和支持工會的文字，難以理解這如何影響飛安，想禁運誰就禁運誰，讓我以為我在北韓。」他於2017年底在網路上訂票，雖然成功買到華航機票，事後到松山機場的華航櫃檯時，才被告知他在華航禁運名單中，無法登機，讓趕著出國洽公的他只好立即改買別家航空的機票。

儘管有這次的經驗，王男還是不死心，陸續試了好幾次，最後都會被告知無法登機，讓他非常錯愕，向華航反映後，才得知自己已被停權，且完全沒有事先知會，甚至沒有任何書面文件，也沒經過合法程序，就連過去多次搭乘華航累積的里程數也一夕消失。
最令王男不滿的是，華航對待他像是對待通緝犯，將他的姓名、身份證字號、護照號碼等個資都外傳，要各機場的華航櫃台阻止他登機，儘管想向高層反映，但對方卻不理不睬，還將他禁運到2100年1月1日，整整82年的時間，他要活到135歲時才能搭乘華航，等於是終生禁運。

對於華航「私自用刑」的行為，王男感到十分氣憤，他根本不知道華航指的抨擊飛安言論是指甚麼，唯一能聯想到的，只有他在網路文章提及自己飛行經驗，他在文中寫到當時他因時差無法入眠，但台灣飛行上限可達10小時，飛行員不能合法在駕駛艙睡覺，讓他的某趟飛行痛不欲生，最後是靠意志力降落。
消基會董事長游開雄表示，大眾運輸工具若無正當理由不能拒絕運送，拒絕前須提出正當理由，若旅客已買好機票，形同契約已成立，若不履約，可向民航局投訴或走法律途徑，若前員工有逾越合理評論分界，航空公司未寄出存證信函，就不作聲直接禁運，也未具體說明禁運理由，恐有差別待遇。

根據華航公告運輸條款，經書面通知旅客不提供運輸服務後，華航有權拒載旅客及其行李。如果旅客在拒載通知生效後試圖登機，華航將會予以拒載。為此民航局也透露，法規並無針對禁運黑名單有明確規定，航空公司運送契約應有不能搭乘規定，這些都要事先說清楚，若旅客認為不符比例原則，可以向民航局或消保官申訴，也可走法律訴訟申請民事損害賠償。
