On October 23rd 1997, Chen Jinxing and Gao Tianmin (the 2 remaining fugitive members of the gang who abducted Bai XiaoYan months earlier) forced at gunpoint the plastic surgeon Fang Baofang and his wife at their private clinic to perform plastic surgery on them to change their appearance (to escape the police), at the same time raped the young attending nurse Zhen Wenyu, then murdered all 3 of them (doctor, his wife, and their employee nurse).

Chen Jinxing raped at least 20 women (and murdered some of them) before he was finally caught.
