'Don't make me angry:' Taipei to probe leak of internal document
2015/01/31 22:33:19

Taipei, Jan. 31 (CNA) Taipei City Government said Saturday that it will conduct a probe on how an internal document featuring a colorful rebuke by Mayor Ko Wen-je (柯文哲) has been leaked to the press.
A picture circulated on social media showed a portion of Ko's handwritten characters criticizing a city employee for putting too much time and paperwork into an unknown project.
"(You)'ve written up a whole pile of official documents just for a difference of NT$70,000 (US$2,207) but aren't dealing with an issue involving several billion dollars," the note said. "Dealing with this sort of thing, you should handle it yourself. Don't make me angry."
City government spokesman Lin Ho-ming (林鶴明) acknowledged Saturday that the document photographed was indeed written by Ko.
Web users and media outlets sharing the picture of the document were quick to latch onto the phrase "don't get me angry" as a sentence representative of the new mayor's blunt style.
