Isn't the title of this thread wrong? Should it not be Swiss Cost of living? Cost n standard of living are 2 different things.

Can see only two foreigners in there.....

Always check the price of fish before order, just like checking price of whore before order !

maybe the ang moh thought singapore was some 3rd world country like indonesia and mudlaysia(especially with the amount of PRC and shitskin workers walking around).thought he was on a backpacking trip to see the ancient civilisations and native charm of the far east oriental pygmies and aborigines.

Angmoh shd hab ordered ikan bilis...$108 can get 7000 fish...:D:D

Middle class ang mors will not avoid Singapore but will avoid the tourist type eating places.

Such stories perpetuate themselves ...sinkapore's reputation is tarnished. There is really nothing much for a tourist to come ...the beautiful beaches and reasonable priced resorts are in Thailand, Malaysia & Indonesia.

I plead guilty as alleged. I shall preview and think for 5 seconds before posting in future.

$7/100gm quite fair. If cannot afford dont dine out.
Whole sale market price $1.5/100gm.
Breakdown cost for that fish dish
Labour cost clean and cook the fish $10
Ingredient $6
Gas/Utilities bill $5
Rental $5
Untensil/clean up $5
Waitress $3.
Profit per 100gm is $2~$3 only.
Not happy go supermarket buy and cook yourself at home.
