It Gives Me Hope.

We enter a little coffeehouse with a friend of mine and give our order. While we're approaching our table two people come in and they go to the counter: 'Five coffees, please. Two of them for us and three suspended' They pay for their order, take the two and leave.

I ask my friend: "What are those 'suspended' coffees?"
My friend: "Wait for it and you will see."

Some more people enter. Two girls ask for one coffee each, pay and go. The next order was for seven coffees and it was made by three lawyers - three for them and four 'suspended'. While I still wonder what's the deal with those 'suspended' coffees I enjoy the sunny weather and the beautiful view towards the square in front of the café. Suddenly a man dressed in shabby clothes who looks like a beggar comes in through the door and kindly asks, 'Do you have a suspended coffee ?'

It's simple - people pay in advance for a coffee meant for someone who can not afford a warm beverage. The tradition with the suspended coffees started in Naples, but it has spread all over the world and in some places you can order not only a suspended coffee, but also a sandwich or a whole meal.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have such cafes or even grocery stores in every town where the less fortunate will find hope and support? If you own a business why don't you offer it to your clients... I am sure many of them will like it.

Paying it Forward ♥

kindness in singapore is usually measured in dollar & cent. those that are by action, usually went unnoticed and unappreciated.

this kind of things only Angmohs will do lah.............

last time got one guy paid for a family's dinner and just ask the family to do the same for other people next time.........

i also read about a woman actually buying back a foreclosed home back for the original owner..........USD30,000+.............you think will happen here ?

### how about someone go Geylang and pay for a ''suspended'' fuck............?

just be kind and be good.

some poor soul would surely benefit from the kindness.

do not think of being rewarded, appreciated or even reciprocrated. kindness is kindness. it's not for exchange. it's good. JUST DO IT!

there are just too many unkind cunning people so don't add yourself into one of them.

be good. be kind.

this is the simple message i wanna share with everyone here :)

a fine example of fake kindness sadly belongs to the pap KEE CHIU where he supplied imbecile aunties and uncles to con them into the bandwagon to another faraway location to act as la-la gang.

It Gives Me Hope.♥

Yes. There are good people on Earth, including here in Singapore. I have come across good Samaritans and people who think of others before themselves and these people do offer services at churches, temples, mosques, etc. Wish to say I'm touched by the good people at the Assissi Hospice, many volunteers and helpers there who do not place money as priority and their work goes to those who really need it.

Cheers!

How did I miss such an interesting thread? How about suspended fucks? IHP goes to Geylang for a screw and he paid for a suspended fuck. Raiders came along and claim the suspended fuck 2 days ago. When Raiders got his salary from Leongsam, then Raiders will help to pay for one or two sessions of suspended fuck? :D

Keechiu gave away non-suspended chicken rice.....

one packet of chicken rice buys you one attendance at a near empty PAP pwabye rally and plus a few more packets of chicken rice with a few cans of near expiry food might earn a vote....

this bastard is the cunning one.....

No. I didn't know that. But it is manned by common people isn't it?

Cheers!

yes both paid and voluteers.

if you wanna understand what death is all about, go volunteer there. you shall be enlightened. :)
