Suspects arrested for rioting at HomeTeamNS club

Four men were arrested in connection with a rioting case at HomeTeamNS @Bukit Batok on May 7.

Police said they responded to a call for assistance and found a 40-year-old man injured at the recreation club. Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was earlier assaulted by a group of men after a dispute.

The four men, aged between 22 and 24, were arrested on May 9 following investigations by officers from the Jurong Police Division.

Those convicted for rioting face up to seven years in prison and may also be caned.
