Suspected serial thief stole belongings left on supermarket trolley

SINGAPORE - A 49-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stealing belongings left on a supermarket trolley and a baby stroller, said police in a statement on Friday.
The two cases of theft took place in a supermarket located along Telok Blangah Road on Thursday.
The suspect was arrested on the same day along Chin Swee Road following investigations and CCTV footage review. He is believed to be involved in two other theft cases that occurred along Orchard Road on Dec 19.
He will be charged in court on Saturday. If found guilty, he faces an imprisonment term of up to three years as well as a fine.
