Suspected molester arrested with help of CCTV footage
SINGAPORE: A 24-year-old man believed to be responsible for a case of outrage of modesty has been arrested.
The suspect is alleged to have committed the offence at a West Coast Drive housing estate at about 9.15pm on 3 June.
He had allegedly entered the lift at the ground floor with the female victim and molested her outside the lift before fleeing the scene.
Through CCTV footage, police managed to trace and arrest the suspect on Tuesday afternoon.
If found guilty, the man faces a jail term of up to two years, and/or a fine and/or caning. - CNA/xq
