Suspected fire-starter arrested at Ghim Moh

SINGAPORE: Police on Friday (Sep 26) arrested a 23-year-old man believed to be involved in several cases of mischief by fire in the vicinity of Ghim Moh Road.
The suspect allegedly deliberately set discarded items such as cushion seats, cardboard, clothing, and other items on fire at Ghim Moh from Aug 23 to Sep 25 this year. He was arrested in the vicinity of Ghim Moh Road, according to a press release.
The suspect will be charged in court on Saturday (Sep 27). He faces up to seven years in jail and a fine. - CNA/dl
