Suspect caught for breaking into neighbour's flat

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 49-year-old man suspected of breaking into his neighbour's flat around Commonwealth Close.
He was caught on Sunday night, after a resident informed police that she saw someone attempting to break into her neighbour's flat.
Police believe that the suspect, who's a resident of the block, had broken into the same unit on 13 February and stole S$500, a watch and a pendant.
The suspect will be charged in court on Tuesday with housebreaking and theft.
