A Chinese man’s body has been left riddled with tapeworms after he ate contaminated sashimi.
The man went to the doctor complaining of a stomach ache and itchy skin, with x-ray scans later revealing his entire body was infected with tapeworms, China’s East Network News reported.
Doctors believe raw fish the man had eaten had become contaminated.
The man’s condition was so severe that he was referred to Guangzhou No.8 People’s Hospital, located in the largest city of Guangdong province in South China.
