It is an evening in June 2006. A train hit the then 15-year-old student at a railway crossing in Ratzeburg. Her left leg is cut off, several broken bones. She is admitted to the hospital. The doctors also amputate her right leg - to save her life. Vanessa is put into an induced coma. After eight weeks, she wakes up. She talks about memory loss, possibly a result of severe head injuries. And she tells us that today is unclear what happened that night in June, exactly.
