I and my 3 family members received our GST vouchers
yesterday. In the vouchers it was clearly stated in addition to the cash and
medisave grants, each of us would receive $100/- rebate for utilities. We were
happy that our generous govt has given the family $400/- for our PUB bills.
However, now the Ministry of Finance has issued a clarification that each family
is entitled to only one utility bill rebate.
Come, come you MOF
scholars who drafted and sent the vouchers to all the households in Singapore,
don't you know how to word the vouchers? Now all the disappointed citizens will
vote against the PAP.
