Having higher aspirations in life is a reason why Singaporeans find the cost of living in Singapore expensive, despite real wages having gone up, said Ng Eng Hen on 10 May 2014.

Wait, Eng Hen, so let me rephrase what you are saying:
1) Since you said High Aspirations causes---> Cost of Living High
2) So, Low Aspirations causes----> Cost of Living Low
3) So in order to get our cost of living to be reduced, we should all start aiming lower in our lives!
4) Therefore, all mankind should stop seeking material wealth and more money! It only makes things more expensive!
