Guy A : Buys car to get to work, goes to work to pay for car.
Guy B : Buys car to get to work, goes to work to pay for car, house, expenses and still got balance money.

All men are equal but the knowledge, intelligence and capabilities are miles apart.

Matter of choices you make now that mould your life thereafter.

Not just civilised life ..

Because the prices of cars have been artificially inflated in Singapore, a car is now a de facto status symbol, and men get it to impress the bitches. They will do anything, even get into hefty debt to have their own car, because of the perceived social benefits of owning one.

Contrast this to bigger countries, where a car is a necessity to get from point A to point B, to travel from one state/province to another.

Those who run their own business don't get caught up in this catch 22 situation because they can write off their travel expenses.

I fail to see how this junk piece of shitty metal can be a status symbol..........sinkies clamour for anything on 4 wheels.
Maybe buy for your 18 year old hello kitty loving daughter who just got her driving license still ok....but its definitely not a status symbol.

Taking taxi cheaper than owning a car,,but me think the PAP should use the COE and ERP money to really improve public tpt and the road infrastructure
