i just tried out 2 video clips in Hulu - can stream and watch. ( unavailable when i didn't proxy change. )
if the proxy address makes your internet slow, untick it once video starts streaming.

can you download the videos via IDM? i can't.

fyi not just vpn but a whole host of proxies can be used. Use anonymous socks 5 proxies and it's cool too. In fact i have created proxy chains before where i can access one proxy with another one to make it even more difficult to trace me. Yes you need to pay some money for good socks 5 proxies and high speed proxies too. Socks 5 proxies can be used by other clients to access the web not just your web browser. Some programs like mirc for eg allow you to input a socks 5 proxy server address inside but some programs don't have a feature therefore you can get a program like proxifier which will now allow your program to connect to said proxy so that your real ip address isn't revealed.
