HORRIFIC footage has reportedly emerged appearing to show a stray dog running away with a dead newborn baby and feeding it to its puppies.

The dog was “filmed in a street with the child in its mouth” outside a hospital in the village of Gopalganj in Madhya Pradesh state, India.

The agency Asian News International (AVN) reported that the baby has not been identified and cops have launched an investigation.

Gopalganj Station House Officer Sanjay Soni is said to have told AVN: “As soon as we received the information, we reached the spot and found the body of a new-born in disturbing condition.

“The body has been sent for post-mortem.

“An investigation is underway to identify the child.”

Video of the disturbing alleged incident has supposedly spread on Indian internet sites.

This is not the first time a stray dog has reportedly fed on a dead newborn baby.

Last month another stray dog was allegedly found with a deceased baby in Madhya Pradesh, according to local media.

And in Uttar Pradesh, it is reported the body of a girl who died a few hours after birth was stolen by a dog from a hospital.

Police are investigating after horrifying video emerged showing a stray dog carrying the body of a newborn baby outside a hospital in India.

Shocked passersby filmed as the stray animal carried the newborn's remains down the street near a hospital in the village of Gopalganj, in Madhya Pradesh.

Video then appears to show the dog fed parts of the baby to its puppies before police arrived and recovered the body.

Sanjay Soni, station house officer of the town police, said officers are now working to identify the baby and find out how the dog got hold of it.

It is not clear whether the infant was alive or dead when the animal found it.

'As soon as we received the information, we reached the spot and found body of a new-born in disturbing condition,' Soni told Asian News International.

'The body has been sent for postmortem and an investigation is underway to identify the child,' he added.

Doctor Arun Saraf, who works at the district hospital close to where the dog was spotted, said: 'After the incident came to light, we started an investigation.'

It comes after another stray dog was found with a dead human baby in a similar incident, also in Madhya Pradesh, which happened last month.

In a third such incident, in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh, the body of a girl who died a few hours after birth was stolen by a dog after being left wrapped up in a rug on the floor in a hospital.

A stray dog was found feeding on the corpse of an infant boy inside the premises of the sub-divisional hospital of Jeypore in Koraput district in Odisha on Monday.

A group of people standing near the hospital watched the body being eaten by the canine, but no one bothered to stop the dog. Some of the onlookers even recorded the incident on their mobile phones, the police said.

The hospital authorities, however, expressed their ignorance about the incident.

“After learning about the incident, I personally rushed to the spot with my staff, but found nothing. Neither the dog nor the baby’s body could be located. We do not have any patient missing from our hospital,” said sub-divisional medical officer (Jeypore) Sitanshu Satapathy.

“Even then, a police complaint will be filed to inquire into the matter,” he said.

Senior police officers said a team is verifying the mobile recordings and the incident is being investigated.

印度北方邦上月才發生一起狗在醫院外叼走一具夭折的女嬰屍體的恐怖事件，近日竟又傳出類似事件。一隻流浪狗在醫院叼走一具嬰屍，然後拿去餵牠的狗孩子，驚悚一幕全被監視器拍了下來。

據外媒報導，該起事件發生在印度中央邦戈帕爾甘傑村（Gopalganj），從當地一間醫院外的監視器畫面可見，一隻黑色流浪狗從醫院內跑了出來，沒想到嘴裡竟叼著一具初生嬰兒的屍體，然後拿去餵牠的狗孩子。

警方接獲通報後，立即趕往現場展開調查，最後在附近的樹林裡發現一具殘缺不全的嬰屍，無法確定該嬰兒被叼走時是否還活著，目前已將遺體送至相關單位進行驗屍，以調查嬰兒的真正身份及為何會被流浪狗叼走。

印度军队又闹了个“国际笑话” 已经不是第一次

　　南亚次大陆的印度一直是一个神奇的存在。二战结束后，饱受殖民之苦的印度独立后发展也算快，经济国防等各方面全面提高后慢慢膨胀起来。近年来，自诩为大国的印度一直在与中国相比较，尤其是在军事方面。但是尴尬的是，印度的很多武器装备都不能满足国产，而且也经常闹出国际笑话。

　　12月5日火球网的消息称，在今年的12月4日也就是印度的海军节上，印度的执政党人民党在社交媒体平台上发布的庆祝海军节官方配图却发生了尴尬的一幕：图片上是美国海军濒海战斗舰密尔沃基号（LCS-5），周围的文字翻译过来是热烈庆祝印度海军节。要知道，LCS-5属于自由级濒海战斗舰，于2015年11月21日正式服役。美国海军曾为该舰拍摄过一组高速试航照，图片拍摄效果很棒，充分展现了美国海军的强大实力，但是印度人却毫不害羞地直接拿了过来为自己的海军节庆祝。真不知道他是为了美观给自己长脸故意为之，还是天真地以假乱真画面相当高大上，结果被印度政党直接取用了！

　　这就是印度人自诩的大国吗？连自己海军节的宣传海报都得用别国的军舰凑数吗！发展了这么多年，手里的武器还都是万国牌，现在连海军宣传都凑不齐本国军舰，真是嘲讽。不仅仅是海军，印度人的空军也不让他们省心，空军海军比着出国际洋相。

　　在2011年12月4日的印度海军节上，印度一份知名报纸为庆祝节日，做了整版的宣传海报，但尴尬的是，上方赫然出现了中国和巴基斯坦联合研制的枭龙战机。这份报纸的报头题为：保卫海洋，旁边就是英姿飒爽的枭龙战机。这难道是该份报纸的高级黑吗？不过印度人好像一直没有发现此处错误，海军官方也没有对此事作出任何声明。关于印度错用自己参与制作的战机宣传，巴基斯坦的论坛报专门指出，这其实已经不是印度第一次用错配图了，之前有数次配错图的类似错误。

　　印度人整天闹出国际笑话，尤其是在自己海军节这种大型节日上，毫不留情地一次又一次打着自己的脸。这似乎成了印度的传统，因为去年的海军节也有大事发生。这次就不是单纯的文字洋相了而且巨大的军舰事故。

　　2016年的12月5日，印度人刚庆祝完海军节的第二天，海军就再一次吸引了全印度甚至全世界人的目光。当地时间12月5日13时50分，印度海军的布拉马普特拉级导弹护卫舰贝特瓦号在孟买海军修船厂正准备出坞海试。熟练的工人们按照流程打开坞门，灌入海水准备用拖船把军舰拖走。不幸的是海水涌入坞内不久，巨大的“贝特瓦”号突然左倾。情况发生的如此之快，还没等海军士兵反应过来，在不到一分钟的时间，军舰咣当一声侧翻在船坞底板上。这次事故造成2名水兵遇难，15人受伤。

　　刚刚过完海军节，结果新舰艇下水时就发生了这样尴尬的事，印度海军颜面扫地，被狠狠地抽了一个嘴巴。海军节上数次错用别国的军舰战机配图，前段时间租用了俄罗斯的核潜艇后还妄称自己成为三位一体的核大国，结果没多久就把租来的潜艇碰坏。这就是印度人所谓的军事强国吗？估计莫迪现在脸都红透了！劝印度人还是省省吧，专心搞国防军备建设，少整些幺蛾子，别在国际上出笑话让全世界嘲笑，安心发展一步一个脚印才是硬道理。（作者署名：小成）
