Read Sylvia Lim's retort on the AIM issue yesterday on Channelnewsasia. This morning, got my Sunday Times and tried to find the article. WTF, cannot find. Instead its buried in the article on Page 6 "Who called off town council's IT deal first?" and the article is all about Grace Fool's take on the AIM situation. Why Strait Times never show respect to Sylvia Lim and WP by printing her statement in full in an article by itself. Instead you got to read the ridiculous article on Grace Fool before you come to Sylvia Lim and even then they never publish her point in full but try to distort it to make Grace's points.

This is really shameful journalism.

I think the only important question is Why did PaP sell state asset to a PaP company and then use that PaP company to hamper or cripple the Opposition. Imagine if WP were to someday take over the government and on Day 1 come to office and cannot switch on the computers?? What kind of hand-over is that??? This is sabotage, pure and simple. Worse the PaP do not give a hoot if the country suffers as a result.

I think WP should get their own software and announce that it's for the use of 2016 takeover of other estates. See wat Pappies say.

Don't forget the software was developed with public funds. Its not right that Pap use public funds to develop anything and then deny it to Opposition if they lose election.

maybe the guy who wrote OB Markers will come out with Vol 2 after all these.

Yes Uncle also think that this is not gracefulee done.:)

Politicians nowadays have forgotten politics is not just to win an oratorical contest but the heart of the electorate.

IMO, the question now is not who terminated the contract first. This is water under the bridge and issue moved higher than that already.

Key questions now in everyone's mind is who and how is AIM related to PAP, why AIM was awarded contract despite being inexperience and a $2 company, what impact of continuity or good for the residents should PAP lose more GRCs.........etc.

I think accountability and real service for the residents are key concerns now, and PAP has to provide relevant and clear answers for such. Of course, I won't hold my breath (confirm suffocated!) to expect to get such answers from them!

This is really shameful journalism.

After years and years, I never expected ST to do anything other than that.
You mean you expect them to do differently from what they demonstrated time and time again?

GROW UP!

Wrong statement.
The contract was through an open bid, unlike the awarding of WP owned FMSS for managing AHTC by WP.
AIM did not hamper or cripple anyone, it was WPthemselves who terminated the contract and screwed it up themselves.
Yoyu see how misleading you are in your statements?

the contract to aim is not an open bid. only 1 party submit, how can be open?

It was an open bidding exercise, you are free to bid or not to bid.

how to be free when the instructions are purposely made so unclear. only 1 party know what is going on and bid.

What are the unclear instructions you are talking about? Please be specific.

To call the SPH/Mediacorp clowns 'journalists' would be a grave insult to the noble profession of journalism and to the real journalists all over the world, some of whom had sacrificed their lives to report the truth.

SPH/Mediacorp clowns are nothing more than 'running dogs and poor prostitutes'. If you know someone who works at SPH/Mediacorp News, treat him/her like a social pariah.

How they do that? show us.

Hahaha, busy making noise. Cannot evolve to making an argument till 3013. Never mind make money now as Leegime screwed big time. Wayang effort also make money in Leegime.
Gotcha Kanina, PAP IB
