Straits Times Economics Associate Editor failed O levels Economics ah?

How can he say that "yield on the two-year US Treasury bond fell below that on the 10-year bond, resulting in an inversion of that part of the yield curve".

This contradicts common economic knowledge: "The yield curve describes the yields on different maturities of US government debt, and its inversion — when rates on long-term bonds fall below those on short-term debt — has been a reliable indicator of recessions in the past.".

Joining SPH is a demotion. He should be demoted further.

That SPH hires these kind of ex-high flier tells you the quality of their standards. They are there just to fill up the pages with
rubbish to make the paper seem credible.

He must failed big time in IMF ...IMF would have fired him but allowed him to resign.

Bet SPH did not heck with IMF about him.

Anybody with a high salary will be reserved a seat in parliament without any questions, not least SPH (state media).
