I think Apple should engage this charismatic chap to help deliver keynote address for Apple's new products in the future.

Asucks! running windoze, no siree!. My Asucks notebook, bought at a premium price, supposedly to be advance at that time, started giving battery problems before warranty expiry, brought to service center & changes, then after warranty expire, one thing, after another started to fail...& finally it DIED!. It is still in a drawer somewhere in the house. Fortunately I have a habit of backing up everyday of usage, & important work back up after use & back up daily.

This was after my HELL ( oops! DELL), then Asses ( oops! Accer), HP, then Asucks...all will fail, hardware, then OS...After the Asucks!..I swear I keep pff Windozed based machines...& switched to MAC & never looked back. I have a MAC MINI...Mac Book Pro...

Asucks & the....Nyet!

A winshit box no matter how it is presented.

One unbelievable thing about ASUS I’ll like to share....
The mobile phone battery can last forever. 3-4 months on standby and not gone flat.

To speak ill of MS OS, one have to live through the times they started, in which I did, MSDOS 1.0-6.0, Windows 1.0-3.0, not forgetting IBM OS/2, 3.1-95, 2000, NT's , then their flops ME, VISTA, 98, XP, Win 7 -8....& then GOOD BYE & GOOD RIDDANCE.

I still have diskettes of my first OS I installed, MSDOS 1.0, Lotus 1-2-3 version 1, word processor I think it was write mate or something 1.0...

There were other OS I had to know in the course of work, to mention a few, DAC OS, IBM OS, SCO-UNIX, UNIX..etc

The headache of breakdowns, viruses etc...running MS OS, enough is enough....

copycat of macbook in design but running shit. early adopter of intel m3 chip for low heat and low power use. apple is not the first user of m3 for thinner macbooks.

All windozed machines from my experience....long experience, the breakdown will start, when the OS gets corrupted, then followed by the shitty hardware that conformed to microshit standards....graphic cards, batteries, display...& VIRUSES, despite paying top money for a virus softwares. OS & Hardware problems usually start, just before the warranty expire & it will slide down to hell from that point onwards. VIRUSES of all kinds, even though you have a strict regimen ....especially VIRUSES, very disruptive to one's work...even you have backups, for the backups , backup the virus...I had enough....no more WINDOZED MACHINES for me...

Windows 3 and Windows 95 was more than enough for me. I am not a masochist.

My experience with later revs is limited to trying to fix problems for friends/neighbors who were using Windows 98, Windows Vista etc.

Most of the time the only thing I could do in order to restore operations was a format and a reinstall. The malware was so deeply embedded that they would still be there unless the disk was wiped clean.

How does he keep a straight face touting his normal average laptop?

There is nothing innovative in this laptop.

If I could I do not need to use every version of Windozed, from MSDOS 1.0 to 6.0 or was it 6.1, 6.2? forgot, then to windozed...IBM/OS2..for my job require me to use them, plus their server's version...IBM OS, DAC..as I had mentioned UNIX/ SCO UNIX...& much later a little bit of LINUX...then I dropped off ..

Like you do, I had to help, colleagues , friends, relatives etc..with thier WINDOZED or MSDOS Machines problems like you, with the Config files etc..trouble shooting & mostly VIRUSES...having to, have forgotten the term hard re-format the HDD & providing these people have the original OS disc to reinstall ...most of the viruses etc..comes from the pirated copies they get or pirated copies of MS Office or others...

Backup no use..for the viruses are already in the backups....have to wipe clean....left all these behind...never looked back.

It will be difficult for people to grasp how bad Windows is unless they tried something else. The fact that nearly every remedy in various forums suggest format and reinstall tells a lot.

Companies as well as consumers take to windows is for the bundled MS Office. For many consumers they genuinely cannot associate getting or arranging MS Officials with Apple. Also some nonsensical comment about old archived files and incompatibility with Apple.

Secondly the guy in the video is rather shameless. There is nothing new or innovative about the product that actually helps in computing, surfing etc. His presentation skill is so bad and any kid from a JC can do much better.

On the other side of the coin, some due to work, especially large corporations to change OS is just too costly, so they are stuck with crappy windozed crappy OS & hardwares that run that OS. I had mentioned I noticed this guy on his IBM notebook working on the train, sitting next to me...I noticed WINDOZED 7...I ask him, WIN 7?...why?, MS had stopped supporting!...he told me, can't help it..company doesn't want to upgrade..

I have been using Lotus 1.2.3. from version 1.0, work processor, display mate, word pro or something, data base DBI-III & then fox pro...& some graphic program & one template SW which MS acquired later...then MS OFFICE, I have tried Open office & other Office packages; but MS Office is so universally used, I couldn't use any other, not even Apple suit of SW's.

I am still using MS Office, MAC Office 2011 now...not the 365, but the standalone!

Do you have issues with "resolving host" when you are trying to connect to Internet via a Mac ?
