上海灘 is the oldest among that 3. 大時代 is the newest. 天龍八部 (1982)'s qiao feng (acted by liang jia ren) is the best qiao feng actor of all time. wu jun (prc version of qiao feng) is a close 2nd in my opinion.

and adam cheng is the ultimate swordsman chu. no one comes close.
