Taiwan parliament is currently majority pro merger with china.
Taiwan told trump they will not be relocating its chip fabrication biz to the US. It costs too much and no Taiwanese wants to move over to arizona desert.
The west of course would like to see asia suffer same fate as Europe. Go into senseless war. That will not happen. Japan eventually will end up trading more with china than with the US.
