Steady hor. It's "Singaporean-First Party" not "Singaporean First-Party". :D

My guess either one of these-
AMK GRC (ragtag team from RP too weak and unlikely RP will have the resources to field a team here. fighting against PM help to establish their branding with opposition supporters)
TP GRC (uncontested so no party is on a high moral ground to lay claim here)
HBT GRC (2 of them previously contested there under SDP, ground covered previously can be brought forward)

WC is PAP stronghold...BT-H is a better target

Almost same - but Singaporean still first. Most Singaporeans get to apply and guarantee an HDB unit, pay lower school fees, and there are concessions given to NS men whether how meaningful you may agree or not agree with.

This is most likely going the Pauline Hanson way and I can see it will milk out some votes from dissent people - but I treat it with suspect and how this will bring us higher or stronger?

Alright then, continue to support the PAP and see it bring us higher and stronger population numbers.

Re: wow nazi party singapore!! cool!

The real Nazi Party is the PAP. Even the lightning logo is similar to the SS lightning.

waffensspic.jpg

They even have the same structures, ie... Ypap=hitler youth. Waffen SS being replace the foreign contingent Gurkhas contingent who is independent of the saf. Gestapo = ISD. see, so many similarities.

Horrors upon horrors... the Singapore version of Winston Peters.

The country is going down the tubes after all!

[NZ First party history] 14: The Anti-immigration surge

Prior to New Zealand First moving right-wards in its economic policy during 1996, it also began to give more emphasis to the more socially conservative or right-wing policies and stances it held. In particular, Winston Peters revitalised NZ First’s electoral prospects in early 1996 by opening up a debate about immigration with his views that the number of immigrants to New Zealand needed to be further restricted. The strategy began on February 1 when Peters gave a State of Nation speech in which he called for immigration to be ‘cut to the bone’. Two weeks later Peters upped the ante in the campaign with a strong speech in Howick. Immigrants to New Zealand, Peters proposed should be limited in number to ten thousand per annum. Immediately, NZ First’s opinion poll support surged, and by April it had reached 29% – easily beating both Labour and the Alliance into third and fourth place.

NZ First’s stance was a thinly disguised attack on immigrants and in particular on Asian immigrants.
Peters blamed immigrants for everything from ‘placing a significant strain on education and health services’ to causing high home mortgage rates (Peters quoted in Geddis, 24 June 1996). Peters’ advisor Terry Heffernan attempted to dispute the charge of racism etc by saying: ’We are not anti-immigrant. We are pro-New Zealand’ (quoted in James, 17 Nov 1995: p.17).

Sounds familiar doesn't it. :D

at least someone does bother in NZ.

look no further dudes

just google runes and the british fascist party and the SS symbol for the naxi party you get the good idea where the pap got their symbol from......

if anybody goes to find out more you might find the english elites in the pap (who ousted lim chin siong) were probably card carrying members of the british fascist party in the war and murky history in the 50s....

The name is not approved yet leh. PAP might not allow as it highlights the most prominent issue of our times, the FT.

Singaporeans first is an offensive name....clearly xenophobic and smacks of favoritism (will hardly assuage a suspicious electorate).

Singapore First may have some possibilities.

Just in this thread alone, the name of the party has been associated with the bigots of history. Surely the 11 must have an inkling on what would come out of this name. It certainly grabs attention and then ? The consequences?

Singapore Huat the Fish Party.

Haven't we got enough useless party which doesn't get a blady seat in Parliament already?

HOW MANY MORE DO WE NEED?

Huat the Fish!!

Frankly my dear, I dont give a damn...

Britain's UK Independence Party made big gains in local council elections on Thursday.

http://www.pri.org/stories/2014-05-23/anti-immigration-party-gains-momentum-uk-elections

Party leader Nigel Farage ran on a platform to pull Britain out of the European Union and severely restrict immigration. Farage outlined his views says being part of the EU makes it impossible for Britain to manage inward migration.

"We have an open door to nearly half a billion people ... we want an immigration policy based on controlling not just quantity, but quality as well," he said.

"Nigel Farage is a politician who has a certain, distinctive manner that makes many people see him as an ordinary, regular British guy," said the BBC's Paul Moss, who has been reporting on the rise of UKIP and far-right parties across Europe in general. "He’s often pictured drinking a pint of beer, smoking a cigarette, which is unheard of for most politicians — what we call in Britian, a ‘blokey’ image."

Despite his party having no seats in the British parliament, Farage has led UKIP from a fringe party to become a standard bearer for the Eurosceptic movement across the continent.

"What has really pulled in a lot of votes for Nigel Farage recently, many people would argue, is he has also been very critical of immigration to Britain," said Moss. "He says there’s too many people coming here, both from inside the European Union and from outside. He talks about the lack of jobs in Britain and how British people should be able to do these jobs. And until there are more jobs available we shouldn’t be bringing many foreigners in here."

Farage hopes to win his party's first seat in the British parliament next year.

"We are serious players," Farage said on Friday. "Over the course of this summer we will choose our target constituencies and throw the kitchen sink at them."

Friday's positive results were a vast improvement from the 2010 British general election when Nigel Farage was principally famous because he was injured in a plane crash caused by the plane getting tangled up in a UKIP election banner it was towing.

Sinkapore First Party should demonstrate its seriousness by helping Roy.

Set up a fund to provide for Roy so that a bankrupt Roy can still fight on.

First Singaporean is even better. It can mean whatever you want it to mean.

Singaporeans first is an offensive name....clearly xenophobic and smacks of favoritism (will hardly assuage a suspicious electorate).

Singapore First may have some possibilities.
