The son of presidential candidate Tan Kin Lian, Tan Boon Keng has taken to his personal Facebook on Thursday (Aug 24) to decry nasty comments from some netizens targeting his father and daughter.
The remarks stemmed from a photo of 75-year-old Tan hugging a young girl on Tuesday (Aug 22) while he was walking out of the nomination centre to greet his supporters after being confirmed as a presidential candidate.
Several of these comments made reference to the elder Tan's "pretty girl" controversy, and suggested that he was touching the young girl in that photo inappropriately.
Responding to these detractors, the younger Tan clarified: "That little girl is his granddaughter and my daughter."

Once upon a time, AWARE stood up for abused women in our society, Now feminists in AWARE people only aspire to be NMPs. They hope that shaming TKL will help them reach their goals.
These women are now anti-family, thinking that good men are gone and desperate for attention. In the pursuit of these, they messed up their own lives. Many are advocates of sexual-liberation, having child out-of-wedlock or from a sperm bank. In a way, they are pathetic victims of woke social-engineering that gives these misfits a space in our society.
If a woman is able to over-react over TKL's casual remarks, they are just high and dry in their ivory towers or simply, their male spouses (if any) are neutered. These women are just bitter and seriously they should seek to rediscover their natural feminine instincts.
