Anyone who has been following the saga would know that the criticisms were not directed at the students (bless their hearts for taking time to try and understand the older folks).

The criticisms, instead, were completely directed at Minister Tan Chuan-Jin.

Yet, the Straits Times – well-known for being a Government lapdog machine – finds it honest to redirect or divert the criticisms to the youths.

I think that’s pretty irresponsible journalism, not to mention totally unethical too.

In the report itself, the Straits Times claims this:

Those students of the youth corp has got nothing better to do?
They volunteer themselves to track down those cardboard collectors, survey and interview them?

I believe it's likely to be a school project being tasked by their lecturer under the wishlist of TCJ to score points.

Nation-building presstitutes doing what they do best. ;)

In times of war, would these $$$ paper generals deflect the enemy bullets onto SGs?

When are we ever going to hear something intelligent, something visionary from our "ministers" ?

All they do is mouth motherhood statements.
