Singapore's beaches are not clean at all, but are still cleaner than most of the swimming pools.

For aLL i know, East Coast's beaches are stiLL better than those off Changi's, Pasir Ris's ,Labrador's etcc..hence we
are stiLL ocassoinaLLy reeLing in fishes from here..

I seem to recall that the beach at the Pasir Ris park area is actually very dirty. The water was tested and found to contain lots of bacteria including those from faeces. Surely I wont swim or even wade there.

Yes there used to be warning signs posted along the beach advising the public of the status of the water. Not very sure if they are still there.
