This government is not keen on criminals on-the-run. They weren’t ‘hurt’ politically or physically.

There are easily 500 in Malaysia, 80 in Cambodia and about the same number in Thailand. Their Interpol connections, as well as cordial ties with police in Malaysia and Thailand can easily locate these chaps. Just look at One-Eyed Dragon’s case as an example. Also, the Malay mata who killed father and son. They were swiftly located.

In S’pore, the authorities are only interested in political opponents. Not criminals.
