People tend to be more easily triggered, stressed and emotionally reactive during poor economic times. Downturns create a climate of high anxiety, fear and frustration, which reduces tolerance and lowers the threshold for angry or impulsive reactions. Do you agree?

Last week, a woman was waking along a pedestrian crossing near the Beauty World MRT Station when the driver of a car that had stopped there shouted at her to hurry up. Yesterday, I was driving in the carpark of City Square Mall when a jaywalker appeared suddenly in front of me. I managed to brake in time, but to my utter surprise, that pedestrian shouted at me to drive carefully. In both cases, vulgarities were used by the driver in the first incident and the jaywalker in the second incident. Are S'poreans becoming more unreasonable out of frustration, fear and anxiety?

Fire Horse year: double dosage of fire. Also applies to global events, both man-made and natural ones.

Happens only once every sixty years. Enjoy the show.

Put 10 rats in a box, all still can relax on corner. Put 20 rats and all fighting for spaces and one day will explode & fight.
Just look at the hawkers tables, sharing of seats and encroaching a private conversation. Waste time waiting for carpark lots.
Even NUS got invaded by AT tourists hogging their canteen. How not to get triggered knowing privacy is invaded and personal spaces compromised?

Not longer ago, an AMDK also triggered @Balls2U at Starbucks.
