iatrogenic death.... hope the family sue the hospital gao gao.... and that loctor license also going to hong gan liao...

Looks like Raffes Hospital spent most of its budget upgrading the building at Bugis instead of hiring competent doctors. :roflmao:

So what will happen to this doctor?

Same as what happened to this doctor: he'll be let off with just a light punishment, then he'll be allowed to go free and continue to work as a doctor and free to live his life.
"The way Dr Sean Ng Yung Chuan treated a patient who died following total knee replacement "goes beyond mere human error", said the coroner at the conclusion of a seven-day hearing."
"Mount Elizabeth Hospital has filed a complaint with the SMC against Dr Ng on this matter.
"Stern and appropriate action was taken against the doctor immediately after the hospital concluded its internal investigations, and he was served with an eight-month suspension," said Dr Noel Yeo, the hospital's chief executive."

So where's the justice? There is none. And no shame, no guilt in these criminals either.

Back in 2004, an Iranian doctor, Alireza Safaian, accused the S'porean team of doctors of killing the Iranian twin girls. Dr Keith Goh of Mount Elizabeth operated on Ladan and Laleh in spite of the extremely high risks involved. It appeared that the S'pore team was going for glory.

Modern medical system is all about profits and sheeple always ended up being the sacrificial lambs

Same doctor Dr Sean Ng Yung Chuan?

How do people like him continue to face their family everyday?
"Guess what honey? I killed someone in the operating theatre the other day!"
"Oh honey, way to go!"
"And I still made it to the conference in Tokyo the next day too!"
"Oh! You're just such the jet-setting-multitasking-important-doctor aren't you!"

Notice how quickly Mount Elizabeth Hospital distanced itself from this orthopaedic surgeon after things went south? Hospital CEO Dr Noel Yeo filed a complaint with the S'pore Medical Council against Dr Ng on this matter. The CEO said: "Stern and appropriate action was taken against the doctor immediately after the hospital concluded its internal investigations, and he was served with an eight-month suspension."
