LKY didn't want to risk it but perhaps LHL should. In 2015, the PAP should simply tell sinkies "We're taking a well earned break. We've had enough of being unappreciated. LTK can take over for the next two terms. We need a holiday."

sure, why not.....but they should step down from any and all advisory posts, directorships, etc and not be paid during this sabbatical.
